Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer to join our team in Middlebury, VT. This role is responsible for performing high-quality echocardiographic studies, ensuring accurate imaging for the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular conditions. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, effective communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform echocardiograms (2D, Doppler, and color flow imaging) in accordance with established protocols.
Assess cardiac anatomy, function, and pathology, providing accurate data for physician interpretation.
Collaborate with cardiologists and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care.
Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment, ensuring quality imaging standards.
Document and report findings accurately in electronic medical records (EMR).
Ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and hospital policies.

Requirements:

RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) from ARDMS, CCI, OR CRCS by CARDUP required within one year of hire.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

3 years of echocardiography experience or equivalent education and training preferred.
