Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Director of Case Management to lead and oversee all aspects of case management operations at a leading healthcare facility in Hickory, NC. This role is essential in managing the coordination of care, optimizing resource utilization, and ensuring patients receive the appropriate level of care. The ideal candidate will be a strategic and collaborative RN leader with strong clinical judgment and team management experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Direct the daily operations of the case management department, including staff supervision and workflow optimization.
Develop and implement care coordination strategies that support quality outcomes, patient safety, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Monitor and manage utilization review, discharge planning, and patient advocacy.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other care team members to improve patient throughput and care transitions.
Ensure documentation, reporting, and program evaluations meet standards of best practice and accreditation.

Required Qualifications:

Associate’s Degree in Nursing.
Current RN license to practice in North Carolina.
Demonstrated ability in critical thinking, sound judgment, and independence in high-pressure environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or Master’s Degree in a related field.
Minimum of 3 years’ management experience in a hospital or case management setting.
