Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Director of Women’s Services to lead and oversee maternal and women’s healthcare programs in Mayfield, KY. This role is responsible for managing labor & delivery, postpartum, and gynecological care services, ensuring high-quality patient care, staff leadership, and compliance with healthcare regulations. The ideal candidate will have a Kentucky RN license, AWHONN certification, and strong leadership experience in women’s health services.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide strategic leadership and oversight of the Women’s Services department.
Ensure compliance with AWHONN guidelines, patient safety standards, and hospital policies.
Manage staffing, budgeting, and quality improvement initiatives within the department.
Collaborate with obstetricians, gynecologists, nurses, and hospital leadership to enhance patient care.
Develop and implement education and training programs for staff on perinatal and women’s health best practices.
Monitor patient outcomes and department performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:

Active Kentucky RN license.
AWHONN (Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses) Certification required.
Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor’s degree (BSN) preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in women’s health leadership, labor & delivery, or postpartum care.
Strong ability to mentor and manage nursing teams.
Experience in budget planning and resource allocation.
