Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Imaging Supervisor to oversee daily imaging operations, ensuring high-quality diagnostic services in Middlebury, VT. This leadership role involves managing radiologic technologists, ensuring compliance with state and federal imaging regulations, and optimizing workflow efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiology, supervisory experience, and expertise in CT or mammography.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the imaging department, ensuring efficiency and quality in radiologic procedures.
Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to radiologic technologists.
Ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards for imaging services.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
Maintain and oversee imaging equipment, troubleshooting issues and coordinating maintenance.
Implement and monitor quality improvement initiatives within the imaging department.
Requirements:
Certificate and/or Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology required.
ARRT(R) certification required, plus additional certification in either CT or mammography.
Eligibility for radiologic technologist licensure in Vermont.
Minimum of five years of radiology experience.
At least one year of supervisory experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Supervisory experience in a unionized setting.
ARRT certification in both CT and mammography, in addition to radiography.
Experience with Epic EMR.
Familiarity with Visage PACS system.
