Job Overview:
A respected acute care facility in Wildomar, CA is seeking an experienced Med/Surg/Telemetry Manager to lead its dynamic inpatient care team. This role ensures the delivery of safe, high-quality patient care, supports staff development, and drives operational efficiency across medical-surgical and telemetry units.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily clinical and administrative operations of the Med/Surg/Telemetry department
Lead and support a team of RNs, charge nurses, and clinical staff
Ensure patient care practices comply with hospital, state, and federal guidelines
Facilitate professional development and promote evidence-based nursing practices
Monitor unit performance metrics, resource allocation, and quality improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications:

California RN license (active and in good standing)
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a related field
BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
2 years of recent experience in medical-surgical or telemetry nursing
Experience with basic EKG interpretation or completion of an EKG class within 6 months of hire
Prior charge nurse or supervisory experience preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s degree in a healthcare-related field
