Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced MRI Manager I to oversee inpatient MRI operations at a top-tier healthcare facility in Orange, CA. This leadership role is responsible for managing MRI services, ensuring operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and team performance across inpatient settings.

Key Responsibilities:

Direct and manage day-to-day MRI operations and staff in an adult acute care environment
Develop and implement policies, protocols, and procedures aligned with safety and regulatory standards
Monitor performance metrics, patient flow, scheduling, and resource utilization
Maintain budget oversight, including income, expenses, and variance reporting
Ensure compliance with standards from ACR, Joint Commission, CDPH, and radiation safety agencies
Lead projects and initiatives focused on process improvement and clinical excellence
Foster a collaborative environment through strong communication, conflict resolution, and staff mentorship

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and management experience
ARRT – MRI certification and AMRIT certification
Current BLS certification
5–8 years of experience in MRI as a technologist or supervisor in an adult acute care facility
Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program
Knowledge of MRI operations, MRI safety, EMR systems, and regulatory standards
Demonstrated leadership, budgeting, and project management experience
Strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior management experience in a large health system or academic medical center
MRSO certification
Advanced administrative degree (MS, MHA, MPH, MBA)
