Job Overview:
A leading medical center in Richlands, VA, is seeking a qualified and driven Nurse Manager to oversee operations in its fast-paced Emergency Department. This mid-level management role is ideal for a seasoned ER nurse with leadership experience, ready to elevate care standards, manage clinical teams, and enhance departmental performance.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead day-to-day nursing operations in the Emergency Department to ensure high-quality patient care.
Supervise, mentor, and evaluate clinical staff in accordance with hospital standards.
Support policy development and revisions through research and implementation planning.
Deliver ongoing staff education related to clinical procedures and departmental policies.
Collaborate with physicians, administrators, and other departments to streamline emergency care services.
Uphold compliance with safety protocols, regulatory guidelines, and quality benchmarks.

Required Qualifications:
Current Virginia RN license.
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
BSN degree required; Master’s degree strongly preferred.
Minimum of five (5) years of nursing experience in Emergency Services.
Supervisory experience strongly preferred.
Strong skills in policy research, development, and staff training.

Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced clinical or leadership certifications are a plus.
