Job Overview:
MH Children’s Hospital in the Texas Medical Center is seeking an experienced Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer to join our team. This role focuses on performing high-quality echocardiographic studies on pediatric patients, including those with congenital heart disease. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric echocardiography and be proficient in using advanced ultrasound technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform pediatric echocardiograms, including 2D, 3D, Doppler, and transesophageal imaging.
Assess and document congenital and acquired cardiac conditions in pediatric patients.
Collaborate with pediatric cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses.
Maintain ultrasound equipment and ensure proper calibration for optimal imaging.
Adhere to hospital protocols and patient safety standards.

Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited sonography program.
Must hold one of the following certifications: RCS, RCCS, RDCS, or RDCS PE.
Minimum of post-graduation training or direct experience in pediatric cardiac sonography (no new graduates or candidates without pediatric scanning experience).

Preferred Qualifications:

BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
