Key Responsibilities:
Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments under the direction of a radiation oncologist.
Operate linear accelerators and other treatment equipment with precision and care.
Monitor patient responses and ensure comfort, safety, and dignity throughout treatment.
Maintain detailed treatment records and ensure regulatory compliance in documentation.
Participate in quality assurance activities and continuing education requirements.

Required Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Program.
ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy.
Current Iowa Permit to Practice Radiation Therapy.
Completion of 24 hours of continuing education within a 2-year period.
Current BCLS certification.

Preferred Qualifications:
Prior clinical experience in a therapeutic radiology setting is preferred but not required.
