This role supports short-term patient care for individuals under observation status, providing timely assessments, coordination, and interventions to ensure efficient discharge or admission decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver patient-centered care in a fast-paced observation unit
Conduct frequent assessments and coordinate care for patients awaiting further treatment or discharge
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to manage transitions of care
Administer medications and therapies per physician orders and hospital protocols
Maintain detailed documentation and communicate effectively with patients and families

Required Qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited nursing program
Washington State RN license upon hire
BLS certification (AHA) upon hire
Minimum 1 year of nursing experience

Preferred Qualifications:

National certification in area of specialty preferred upon hire
