Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality respiratory care during the night shift (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM) in Paris, TX. This role involves assessing, treating, and managing patients with respiratory conditions, ensuring optimal breathing function and patient comfort. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical skills and experience in acute and critical care settings.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform respiratory therapy procedures as prescribed by physicians, including oxygen therapy, ventilator management, and nebulization treatments.
Assess patients with breathing disorders and provide appropriate interventions.
Operate and maintain respiratory therapy equipment to ensure patient safety and effectiveness.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and adjust treatment plans.
Educate patients and families on respiratory care and treatment plans.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection control, and patient safety standards.

Requirements:

Current Texas Respiratory Therapist Licensure (RRT or CRT).
Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy.
BLS certification required.
ACLS and PALS certification required within 6 months of hire.
