Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist to join a clinical care team in Utah. This role focuses on delivering high-quality respiratory care to patients of all ages in both acute and non-acute care settings. The ideal candidate will have a current or obtainable Utah Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license, strong clinical skills, and a commitment to patient-focused care.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive respiratory care services including assessments, therapeutic treatments, and ventilator management.
Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to develop and implement effective care plans.
Perform diagnostic tests and monitor patient responses to treatments.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with clinical protocols and safety standards.
Support patients in emergency situations requiring advanced airway management and critical care interventions.
Required Qualifications:
Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) in Utah, or the ability to obtain licensure before starting.
BLS and ACLS certification (must be obtained within 6 months of hire).
PALS and NRP certification (must be obtained within 6 months of hire).
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience in a hospital or critical care setting.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
