Job Overview:
We are seeking a Sonographer specializing in Women’s Health to join our team in Burlington, VT. This role focuses on performing high-quality OB/GYN ultrasound examinations to support women’s healthcare, including prenatal care and gynecological diagnostics. The ideal candidate will have ARDMS OB/GYN certification, formal sonography training, and at least 6 months of scanning experience beyond clinical rotations.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform OB/GYN ultrasound examinations in accordance with physician orders and clinical guidelines.
Assess fetal growth, anatomy, and maternal health through high-quality imaging techniques.
Collaborate with maternal-fetal medicine (MFM) specialists, obstetricians, and radiologists to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Maintain ultrasound equipment and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
Provide clear patient communication and compassionate care throughout the imaging process.
Accurately document findings and ensure integration with electronic medical records (EMR).

Requirements:

ARDMS OB/GYN certification required.
Graduation from an accredited diagnostic sonography program.
Minimum of 6 months of scanning experience outside of clinical rotations (must include OB/GYN experience).

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in maternal-fetal medicine (MFM).
Strong team player mindset with excellent collaboration skills.
Effective communication skills for patient interactions and interdisciplinary teamwork.
Ability to critically think while scanning, ensuring accurate assessments and reporting.
