Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Echocardiology Supervisor to oversee operations within a high-performing cardiology department in Mission Viejo, CA. This leadership role is responsible for supervising echocardiographic services, ensuring quality patient care, staff training, workflow efficiency, and compliance with clinical and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate daily operations of the echocardiology team in an acute care setting
Perform and review echocardiographic procedures to ensure image quality and diagnostic accuracy
Assist in training, mentoring, and evaluating staff performance
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and administrators to optimize workflow and patient outcomes
Maintain compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and professional standards

Required Qualifications:

Completion of an AMA-accredited Echocardiogram program (minimum one year)

Certification upon hire by one of the following:

Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) – ARDMS
Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI)
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
BLS certification (AHA) upon hire
2 years of recent full-time experience in echocardiography
1 year of experience in an acute care hospital setting

Preferred Qualifications:

Associate’s degree in a related healthcare field or equivalent credentials
Membership in professional organizations (e.g., SDMS, SVT, AIUM, ASE)
Prior supervisory or management experience in a clinical imaging setting
