Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technician to join our team for the evening shift in Sanford, NC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnostic medical sonography and be capable of performing high-quality imaging procedures to assist in patient diagnosis and treatment. This role requires attention to detail, technical expertise, and a commitment to patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform ultrasound examinations following physician orders and established protocols.
Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal image quality.
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to assess and interpret imaging results.
Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning during scans.
Maintain accurate patient records and comply with hospital policies and regulatory standards.

Requirements:

Graduation from an accredited ultrasound program and ARDMS registry eligible (must obtain registry within 9 months of hire) OR ARRT registry with ultrasound credential.
American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
