Job Overview:
A leading healthcare facility in Seattle, WA is seeking a skilled Nurse Manager to lead its Labor and Delivery unit. This leadership role oversees daily operations, clinical care standards, and staff development to ensure a safe, compassionate, and high-quality birthing experience for patients and families.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage staffing, scheduling, and supervision of the Labor & Delivery team
Promote evidence-based practices and ensure adherence to clinical and safety standards
Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and interdisciplinary teams to support exceptional patient outcomes
Support staff development through mentoring, education, and performance evaluations
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental planning

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school (or ADN with commitment to earn BSN within 2 years of hire)
Washington RN license upon hire
BLS certification (AHA) upon hire
3 years of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Nursing or related field
1 year of first-line management experience
