Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Radiation Therapist to join a specialized oncology team in Eureka, CA. In this role, you will administer prescribed radiation treatments to patients, ensuring accuracy, safety, and compassionate care throughout the course of therapy. You’ll work closely with radiation oncologists, physicists, and nursing staff to deliver high-quality patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer accurate radiation treatments according to the oncologist’s prescription and treatment plan
Monitor patient reactions during treatment and provide patient education and support
Ensure proper operation and safety of radiation equipment
Maintain detailed and accurate patient records and treatment documentation
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Required Qualifications:

Formal completion of therapeutic radiologic technology training from an approved school
National certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) upon hire
California Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification or California Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification upon hire

Preferred Qualifications:

Specialized coursework/training in diometric techniques and physics of treatment planning
