Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Radiology Technologist to join a hospital-based imaging team in Eureka, CA. In this role, you will perform diagnostic radiographic procedures to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of patients, while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and high-quality imaging standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform a variety of radiologic examinations with accuracy and attention to patient safety
Operate radiographic equipment and maintain imaging systems according to established protocols
Position patients appropriately for procedures and ensure proper exposure techniques
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare providers for optimal diagnostic outcomes
Document procedures accurately and maintain compliance with all regulatory standards

Required Qualifications:

Graduation from a radiologic technology program approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education & Accreditation of the AMA
California Radiologic Technologist License upon hire
National certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) upon hire
BLS certification (American Heart Association) upon hire

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in a hospital-based radiography setting
