






Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Respiratory Care Practitioner to join the respiratory therapy team in Eureka, CA. This role focuses on providing high-quality respiratory care in an acute hospital setting, working with a diverse patient population across critical care, emergency, neonatal, and post-operative environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer respiratory therapy treatments and diagnostic procedures according to physician orders
Monitor and assess patient respiratory status and adjust treatment plans as needed
Operate and maintain respiratory therapy equipment, ensuring patient safety
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in critical care, emergency, neonatal, and surgical units
Educate patients and families on respiratory treatments and care techniques
Required Qualifications:
Graduate of a respiratory therapy program approved by the Committee on Allied Health Education & Accreditation of the AMA
California Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire
BLS certification (American Heart Association) upon hire
ACLS and PALS certifications (American Heart Association) within 90 days of hire
2 years of full-time acute care respiratory experience, including Critical Care, Emergency Department, Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, Childbirth Center, Nursery, Neonatal ICU, and PACU
