Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Sonographer to join our team for the night shift in Burlington, VT. This role is responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound imaging to support patient diagnosis and treatment. The ideal candidate will have ARDMS certification with an ABD or OB/GYN credential, at least two years of scanning experience, and a strong commitment to patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform abdominal, OB/GYN, and other ultrasound examinations as prescribed by physicians.
Ensure accurate patient positioning, imaging techniques, and quality assurance for optimal diagnostic results.
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare providers to ensure effective imaging interpretation.
Maintain and operate ultrasound equipment, ensuring compliance with hospital protocols and safety standards.
Document patient history, procedures, and findings in the Epic EMR system (preferred).
Adhere to best practices in infection control, patient care, and regulatory compliance.

Requirements:

High school graduate or equivalent.
Graduate of a certified CAAHEP school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Radiologic Technology, or a two-year allied health equivalent.
Must be ARDMS registered with an ABD or OB/GYN credential.
Minimum of two years of paid scanning experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a Level I trauma center.
Experience with Epic EMR.
